Think we will win these matches. Maybe teams will start taking us as a bit of a soft touch now. It's not just Macca under pressure now its the players too and Macca should be getting them fired up as these 2 games could change our season!

Contracts are worth f*ck all now anyway for both clubs and players/managers alike, he gave Blackwell a 3 year one in March and in the September/October of the same year he got rid of him so that won't stop Bates sacking Gary Mac if he feels that is what is best for the club.

Personally I think he'll come good and we'll go up automatically this season and I know deep down that Tad feels the same.

I know I'm repeating what others have said, but our defending of any set piece at the moment is a shambles. That's something that should be easy enough to sort out, with hard work on the training pitch. McAllister is, rightly, getting stick for this, but what has his assistant been doing? Stan was an international defender who played for some bloody big clubs during his career, surely he should be able to work with them? That's the frustrating thing, it doesn't matter who plays, it's the same thing every week.

I agree chopping and changing managers is not the way to go, and some of the football we're playing at the minute is light years in front of what we had to put up with last year, but this is a results orientated business. By all means give him this season, it's pointless in my opinion to change now, but he knows the pressure of the job.

I understand what he means. Whoever is at LUFC will be under huge expectation but I gurantee that they would have plenty lining up for the job.

Thing is there is no one else available that is better than Macca. Still think he is the right man for the job and once he has sorted the defence out we'll start doing well in the league

no. i was on a rolling contract when i started the job i'm in now and every year for three years a new contract started the day the preciding one fininshed, until they gave me the job full-time, fools
