| Didn't notice the kick position for the last Cats try and it's difficult to see forward passes from the Western Terrace (although there does seem to be a number of supporters round me that have 'panoramic vision').
Always think Hicks looks out of his depth when he's in field - much better when he's got a little flag in his hand.

| Quote: Old Feller "What position was Coach Guisset playing?
He was on the pitch coaching the Dragons more than their subs.
It was an absolute joke, still no doubt Hicks couldn't see him he missed nearly all their off sides.'"
Surprised the coaching staff who came on the field were allowed to wear yellow t-shirts to be honest given our kit for the day.
.............
Regarding the last Catalans try......meh. We've been awarded much dodgier looking tries than that. The TJ that side could've pinged us once or twice in the first half whilst down there for dodgy looking short passes from McGuire to Ablett.

| Looks like Pryce has been indulging in too much French cuisine since moving to France, it was hard to distinguish between him and Taia.

| today was probably the most lackluster performance that i have witnessed for many years,
the crowd certainly picked up on this as there was no atmosphere at the game what so ever
quality seeing leon giving the southstand the clenched fist after he set up millards try just after he had been given the verbals from them and then seeing him sat on his haunches in front of the southstand at the final hooter.......priceless

| Very poor performance, happy with the win, but it shouldn't cloud how poor we were.
Bish -scored a good try but is so hesitant in fielding kick although he didn't do much wrong today.
Briscoe - works hard but seems to look abit off at the moment not really surprising though given his side is starved of possession.
Watkins - criminally under used.
Moon - probably our most consistent player along with peacock and hall at the moment, scored two good tries and put one on a plate for hall
Hall - came inside looking for the ball and put in a great shift
Sutcliffe - clearly has some class but for me isn't a half back, back rower for me. Nerves of steel for the vital penalty
McGuire - nothing flashy but tried extremely hard
Singleton - fan of the lad but not his best today
Aiton - worked his socks off impressed to say its only his second outing since his return
Peacock - great effort as per
Delaney - big in effort not his best today
Ablett - important try not a bad game but not his best by any stretch
Bailey - ran in and tackled but as most of the pack nothing special
Achurch - a couple of good runs but nothing stood out
Walters - nice try, getting better week by week
Ward - did well, even though he he wouldn't have been selected had Kylie not pulled up late.
L.briscoe - good spark late on
The game of reminiscent of Warrington in 2009 at headingley for me, hopefully it'll be the same outcome come the end of the season

| Pryce kicking a dead ball into the field of play in the last few minutes ala Tommy Martyn was typical of the player and made the victory a little sweeter.

Just watched again on highlights, as stated clear forward pass. But more importantly the ball is placed about a metre from touch line. The kick was much further infield than that.

| Dramatic game of not the best quality.
I echo what a few have said about BJB. Not a rock at the back, poor at fielding kicks but what a try. Hopefully Zak is refreshed and well behaved when he gets back because there is a big difference between the two.
Achurch was poor defensively today. Moon has improved out of sight on the start of the year.
I continue to be very impressed with Walters who gets better every week. Seemed the only player willing to push up and support the ball carrier. In the team on merit and should stay there. We attack in 1st too often.
We must persevere with Sutcliffe but he will have to impose himself more on the games. Was a passenger for long periods, but to be expected with a young lad playing half.
Was an important 2 points to keep us close to Saints, keep Huddersfield and Warrington at bay and pull away from Wigan. Will focus on that rather than the performance.

| Was singleton injured I don't remember him coming back on.
Not the best performance but with the injuries a decent win, well done to Sutcliffe on the kick.
I echo the earlier calls for Watkins to get better ball still under used.

| Defensively we were awful poor contact ,poor markers and gifted them trys with holes you could drive 2 buses through.
Bjb scored a cracking try but was poor again no real intent on kick returns pathetic for their first try as were Watkins and Singleton.
Ablett took a heavy bang on his shoulder after about 15mins but was kept out there and was carrying the injury clearly but scored a vital try.
There were also times when Aiton was blowing as expected but again was kept on the field.
Moon was M.O.M for me followed by Hall/JP.
I also think we seriously need another F/T Coach on the staff to freshen us up and hopefully add some spark we were so 1 dimensional in their 20m.
I thought we looked very tired at times which reflected in some of the poor defensive efforts.
The less said about Hicks the better completely useless!

Singleton did come back on but with pretty much only 90 seconds left for Ablett....like Rhinoms said, think Ablett was struggling with a knock.
As for Watkins. Because he's a favourite on here, any game he doesn't shine is usually excused as "we aren't using him enough". When actually on some occasions, like today, he was just quiet when he was involved and wasn't at his best in defence either.

| Agree with most that has been put on here. I think we missed Kylie more than we did Sinfield to be honest, though Sinfield may well have steadied us a bit more at certain points.
Hicks was very poor in my opinion. There were some dodgy calls either way, but the repeated Catalans offside was frustrating and it's something that has annoyed me with other refs this season too. It appears that the refs as a whole are happy to allow teams to hold down quite a while and be a few steps offside this season. Which is annoying as it doesn't help the quicker teams and the teams who don't hold down.
I also get annoyed at incidents where the ref just plainly ignores the rules. The incident where Pryce kicked the ball back in-field was a clear 10 minutes and should have been punished. I don't know why he decided not to punish a deliberate attempt to slow the game.

Fair dos it just seems that he doesn't get enough ball but as you say he wasn't at his best today.

On your points G1, it seems that Achurch is a player who needs the momentum. He was playing more minutes, running into some form and putting his stamp on things. The niggly injury seems to have disrupted that. hopefully he gets back up to speed quick.
Sutcliffe for me disappointed in a few defensive reads and was soft in the tackle. Needs to sort that quick or opposition will be running in his direction all the time.
Walters is brilliant. Reminds me of Clarkson with how he burst onto the scene on merit with some eye catching contributions. Which lead to another point in how Clarksons development hasn't really happened. Which opens it up to Walters. Kylie was injured in warm up so Stevie Ward who was 18th man stepped in. So Walters is currently higher in pecking order that Ward and Clarkson on form. Rightly so, Mac here picking on form. Wish that would filter through to a certain other passenger.....
