It would be a disaster If Zak left, it really would. I think he is absolutely awesome and has been a rock for Leeds this season. We will be a worse side with BJB at FB without a doubt, thats even with Briscoe on the wing. What ever disciplinary issues are going on, getting rid of Zak should only happen unless its absolutely necessary with simply no other option. And even at that selling him to a SL club would be way beyond stupid. I can stand losing players to the NRL and even Union, but losing our talent to other SL clubs is a disaster.

By the tone of the statement it doesn't sound like a disciplinary issue particularly.

Unless its a bit of misdirection by the England camp, but I doubt their skill at doing that sort of thing and in the age of twitter its hard to keep it quiet.

From what I have heard, and I'm not giving this source any credibility, it's someone who does indeed play full back for a cash strapped West Yorkshire club, but it's not Mathers and it's not Wakey. A bit out of left field this one.

Hope it's all rumour that Hardaker is moving on, he's already very good and has the potential to be world-class.

There are two options to the G1 rumour ("cash-strapped West Yorkshire club not Wakey" doesn't completely narrow it down). Kearney is a very decent player though not as good as Zak and another over-30. As for the other option not sure how punching out Father Christmas while out on the mickey fits in to the zero-tolerance Royal Marine approach.
