We already are seeing inconsistencies, Westwood did the same to Wellens the week before caught by tv and don't even think his was reported?

Doesn't make good Reading. Don't have loads of confidence in kirke stepping up and leading us forward. Hope the academy props are up to it. I walked past them (the academy props) at quins game and they didn't fill me with confidence. I am sure they are good and will be but what I mean by this is they did look like boys. Lets hope we get some bodies back soon

Our game plan doesnt need props, more second rowers and three quarters I say!

Looks like McDermott (hmm...) is scouting round for a prop or two on twitter tonight.

| How about a coach's select front row of
McDermott, Lowes, McDermott
At least they'd have a chance of winning the fight if not the game.

I'd like to think our current game plan is dictated by the lack of props, but I'm not so sure it is! We pretty much know what Salford's game plan will be now in any case...

Dean Bell managed it in 1996. Admittedly he was a lot younger and had the less arduous task of playing in the backs. IIRC he put Golden in for a try.

I think I'd recognise all of them!? Possibly not Amor if he's had his hair cut since the last time I saw him.

Golden played but didn't score although 'Ding Dong' bagged one for himself.
I always liked his version that went something like: 'reading down the teamsheet when I got to the centres I thought I could do better than that.'
Edit: The backs he selected on the bench that day were Sateki Tuipulotu and Adam Hughes. Ouch.

| It's nice when the coach thinks he can do better than the players. I wonder if we will see BMD starting at 10 this week, given his alternative is Kirke?

Who would you rather run at or tackle?, I'd pick Kirke every time.

Bad news for us, but sort-of good news for the academy guys, as they get a chance to show their worth imo, Singleton will play this week IMO.

| 1 game ban for Cross. Still can't believe he gets one for that, deserved for what he did btw, but the Westwood assault on Wellens goes, well, not even worth looking at by the RFL. They both looked similar to me, and both were clearly shown on t.v.

Not only would I pick Kirke in a heartbeat, I'd also fancy my chances of beating him given his displays so far this season.
