Certain posters have a tendency to become entrenched in their views/agendas and the resulting 'fog knitting' (to quote one of the main culprits) sometimes provides entertainment but is also one reasons why I've spent more time posting on the Bulls board of late (where there are fewer egos and cliques). Things have improved since Swiftcorn/AP has returned - always enjoyed his posts on RLFans, in particular his efforts on the Saints board, not to mention his habit of dredging up old threads...'"
I suppose old habits die hard.
I love Swiftcorn. Proper makes me laugh! As do the responses from the people who take him seriously (which was me at first!). This place would be a lot duller without him.

Do the guys that have been here years (G1, tvoc, McF, Billy, Fat Boy & many more), not get sick of having the same discussions time and time and time and TIME AND TIME again?!
I've only been here since October and I'm already beyond bored discussing Diskin vs. Buderus.'"
Well this is a rugby league forum. We have the same games against the same teams every season along with pretty much the same personnel. Repetitiveness is just something that happens and won’t be halted anytime soon.

Yes I did a little but as it was still on page one of my 'view your posts' threads list I thought you at least might appreciate the opportunity to discuss Matt Diskin's attempted tackle on Scott Grix (not that he was alone in the appalling team effort to prevent the try being conceded.)
Should I not bother in future?

Thanks for the offer but that won't be neccessary.
What did you miss? Nothing, absolutely nothing or at least nothing new.

'" Knock yourself out.
I don't deny Matt Diskin missed and misses tackles. The point I was making is the reaction to those misses would be massively different if it were Matt or Buderus making, sorry, missing them in the blue and amber.
So I am not sure where you took the discussion. Having bemoaned well worn discussions being rehashed earlier in the week you've just been a bit hypocritical.
I don't mind. These discussions and debates are simply a work diversion for me. If anyone thinks anything on here is original they are deluded.

Interesting and somewhat revealing that you phrase it like that. Matt (although officially it appears to be Matthew don't you know) or Danny alternatively Diskin or Buderus surely there boss?

Or highlighted their current relevance perhaps?

If Rob Burrow plays on Saturday it will be his 300th 1st grade appearance for Leeds. There you go, not a lot of people know that. Shouldn't be long before you find a way to work it into a discussion about wee Robbie.

| Restricting Wakefield to one try was a good effort, albeit against a poor side.
A change of emphasis from Brian Mac after the Saints game, or preparation for the game against Wigan? Either way, more please!

Not so much a change of emphasis, I think, more that Bailey and Leuluai are now back, so second-rowers are not having to play in the front row and the consequent musical chairs of players playing out of position that we had in the early games is now (almost) back to normal.
