Nothing mischievousness on my part, I quoted a comment made by the club's highly respected CEO. Certain message board regulars hang onto his every utterance as being absolute gospel.

You mention Lee Smith - but the club CEO didn't in that article - although he did mention Ben Jones-Bishop and Kallum Watkins.

I imagine Donald is just relieved you haven't given him your usual forthright send-off .

I reserve my usual forthright send offs for those who imo deserve them and trusting our CEO who has delivered an elite squad ,top class club and facillities is hardly hanging onto his every "utterance" as being gospel as you describe.
Of course we differ in our views of our esteemed leader and you are fully entitled to that view but i prefer to appreciate what he's done for this club rather than pick fault at every opportunity.

top top winger. and that try he scored at headingley vs my beloved fc was sheer genius, quite simply the greatest individual try i have ever seen with my beedy eyes....
even at the time when i was stood in the fc end on that night at headingley i said to my mate and i quote " that was f..king brilliant" he said " no sh*t".........

The one sentence I referred to was something the CEO actually said and is entirely relevant and unambiguous.

You can try and find loopholes and quote the YEP reporter if you like but it doesn't alter the fact that Gary Hetherington said that Greg Eastwood was the only notable departure and guess what (so far) he's right, IMO although clearly not in yours.

It's only relevant to THIS thread if you use it in isolation to imply that CEO does'nt see Donald as a notable departure which in this case you have.
Like i said the article shows that Donald is replaced in the squad by Smiths return and the mention of Eastwood by the CEO as the only notable departure is because he has yet to be replaced.

Stevo "has lost the plot" IMO, he is obsessed with minor rule infringements and overreacts to anything resembling a foul (irony of ironies from a 1970's hooker). Time for a change there.

the whole set up needs sorting. eddie is a good studio host but sh*te commentator. stevo is a joke and clarke is a rambling lancashire biased idiot.

dave woods should be the commentator and someone like iestyn harris would be a great co-commentator
