Though I think most oppo fans know how influential sinfield is for leeds, they just don't think he cuts it at international level.

It's not just sinfield though, it's the whole triangle of burrow, mcguire sinfield. I don't think theres a better 13 6 7 combination in super league and the honours won with that back it up.

Then again, many Warrington fans seem to have earmarked 2011 as the year he signs for them.

I truly believe that, it takes more than Individual skill to be a great player.

Sinfield IMO have surpassed ten times what Iestyn Harris did for Leeds.

When Kevin Sinfield says he'll be at Leeds for all his playing career I would put more store in that statement than any comment you may read on an internet message board (including this one.)

True. Couldas and wouldas count for nowt. Just think how we've played with injuries and that this could be the most memorable season we've had. Still not seen Eastwood on a good pitch yet and thats an exciting prospect.

Kevin Sinfield is currently on 1,053 (place kicks and drop goals combined) up to and including Saturday's cup-tie at Hull.

Taking an average of Sinfield's goals per appearance from the period 2004 to date, he will need another 43 games to becoming the club's leading goal kicker.

Sinfield is currently contracted at Leeds until the end of 2011.

In terms of the points record he is currently 583 short of Jones' record tally of 2,920. Using a points basis over the same period as used above that will take him another 62 games to knock off. Depending on a contract extension, injuries, fitness and form that looks likely to be sometime in the second half of 2012 or possibly early into the 2013 season.
