A typical Smith performance. No lack of effort but we are a disorganised rabble of a team. I appreciate Saints are a top side, but we have managed to score 2 tries in 160 minutes ( 1 an interception). Apart froma good 30 minutes last week we have shown no improvement from last season.

 Saints Triumph Over Disappointing Rhinos In CupSt Helens were strong 18-8 winners over the Leeds Rhinos when tonight’s Challenge Cup hopefuls met in a regular round Super League encounter last weekend, and the bookies made the visitors slight favourites again by giving the Rhinos a two-point start on the handicap coupon. The Rhinos had Paul Momirovski back in the centres alongside Rhyse Martin while Saints had Waqa Blake in the centres and Moses Mbye at scrum half for Lewis Dodd, and Curtis Sironen back in the starting line-up with Batchelor on the bench. Not a lot to say really.
Another lame, toothless performance.
Becoming all too familiar.
We're in danger of becoming a 'nothing' team under Smith.
I honestly don't think I've ever seen a poorer kicker than Frawley. It's quite unbelievable at times.
But I fully expect stubborn Smith to continue with the same policy.
Massive 5 games in the league for the coach now.

That’s 3/6 now and out of the cup at the first hurdle again.
If we could see consistent improvement then you can accept waiting for things to improve results wise, but the next few weeks are now very significant for Smith and this group.

Huge next 5 for Smith. It’s not good enough so far. Not jumping the gun yet as it’s very early still but we’re clearly well short of the top 2 or 3 sides. To lose in almost identical fashion two weeks on a row at home against the same side is concerning |

Prior to 2004 Leeds had a handful of good teams that tended to look well off the pace when it mattered. It feels a bit like those teams again, although we really were dreadful tonight.
