No. Only that a number of factors went into that news.

Why would it be unfair to quote him? You're seemingly happy to talk about content of this conversation but not say who you spoke to. I find that odd. But fair enough, it's your prerogative to withhold that.

100%correct, like you I speak to a couple of senior players an it's so unfair to give out names etc, but you are correct with your comments! there is a lot more positives coming out of the camp with Furner going. ( all was not 100% with him by the players etc)

His son Kyle did a couple of training sessions up at my kids junior club, and when asked why Tui wasn’t playing, his did a round gesture towards his stomach. Now, we all know that he isn’t exactly the model professional when it comes to weight, but to say "because he’s fat" and "I go to the gym with his missus, and she’s fit" was a tad out of order in front of the nippers.

Glad they’re out of the club personally.

TBH I don't have a problem with taking the mick out of Tui WRT his weight. I don't agree with body-shaming in the real world (possibly because I'm a 'few' kilos overweight nyself nowadays), but it shouldn't be possible to make fun of a full time pro athlete in that way.

He is way out of shape for a professional athlete and seems to have no appetite for work, the sooner we are rid the better. If Golding cannot get in in front of an overweight workshy waste of space then he needs to more on for his own sake / sanity.

Lolohea is awful and was poor Friday bar the try. How he's been here nearly 8 months and is still out of shape I've no idea. Have a feeling he'll do an Achurch though, in that he'll not be moved on quickly but will hang around for a few years before then leaving the professional game, who's going to want him.

Even if the flab wasn't an issue, there are major problems with his game. Interception on Friday notwithstanding, if I'd had to pick a weak link likely to undo all the good work it would have been him.
