| Quote: The Chin's Back "If the Giants do go down then i think that they could be finished as IMO Ken Davy seems to have given up on his ambitions for the club and tbh their crowds never really reached any great numbers when they were relatively successful,so maybe he has finally called it a day with his financial outlays
Moving forward could the Giants take the option to sell out and revive under an out of town franchise?
Would Ken Davy take the money and run?
I would be seriously worried if I was a Giants fan at this present time'"
ken davy hasnt given up, never under estimate the man, he has put more money into the giants this season than ever, he recently said that in a letter in the local paper.
our downfall is the guy working under him ... mr thewlis who seems to make all the decisions and been getting so much wrong

| McIntosh likely to be banned for this one, no EGP available to him.
Does that mean Murphy will come in to replace him?
Any Rhinos injury news, players coming back?
Parcell obviously since he was rested for the cup game.

| Moon has been outstanding in the halves, perhaps it's because he's not a traditional half and defenders really are not used to it and don't know what to expect. He may be creating a different type of half. Interesting to see above somebody mentioning Brad Fittler and Schoey coming from centre to half. Wouldn't want to compare our modern day players to them but Moon has some really bamboozling footwork that must be a nightmare to defend against.

I would still like to see him create a bit more, he is really just attacking like a fullback imo, hopefully he is doing some extras after training to improve his long passing and short kicking game

| he hasn't a passing game, nor a kicking game. however he gets his hand on the ball more and is a very elusive runner. a massive threat with ball in hand

| Magsy is alongside him doing the cutout passes and the kicking. At the moment it's working. I haven't a Scooby who does what at training, but I'm sure that all eventualities are covered......unless someone tells us otherwise.

He's got more space to work with receiving the ball infield. He's got the pace to get out to the edge gaps or as you mention put the dance moves on tired inside defences.
He would be not be far off that effective at centre IF we got the ball out quick enough.

| Good point....but quick ball to the centres is not what we have or can expect with our setup at the moment.

Hopefully so, let's not forget he's only several games into this new role and is learning on the job and has the potential to improve his weaker areas with gametime. I know he played there a bit as a youngster and some said he shouldn't be picked at HB because he wasn't successful when played there in his NRL days but his last decent run in that position was when he was only 20....and in the NRL, in a struggling team. More experienced, different league, different style, think he's got a future at HB and isn't just a temporary fix.

Even if we did, that still always restricted him to one particular part of the field whereas this allows him to do it across the field.
And Keinhorst has proven to just as effective at centre and he shows you don't have to be all dancing all tricks for that position.

| I'd really like us to go for the jugular in this one. Huddersfield are out of form, they have injuries to key personnel and the coach looks to be losing the dressing room. This is a perfect opportunity to really improve our points difference as it's getting quite congested at the top.
Oledzki should keep his place on the bench, I know that Doncaster are only part time but he was skittling grown men every other carry. If Golding or Sutcliffe are back I would leave out Walker. Brough might be a petulant sod who is declining rapidly but his kicking is still dangerous and I imagine Walker will struggle to deal with it.

| Leeds need to be wary of wounded Huddersfield, who have traditionally made things very difficult against us. Go for the jugular by all means, but let's not assume it will be a walk-over. Let's hope the recent loss against Warrington, who were in a similar position to Huddersfield at the time, is not repeated...

I was meaning more turn up with the attitude we would have if we were playing Wigan in a play off game. If we play a full 80 minutes with the intensity in defence and creativity in attack that I know we have the potential to do then we will run up a score.

Not for me with regards to turning up with a playoff style attitude. It's a long season and we know better than most about pacing ourselves, don't think you can throw in too many playoff style attitude performances without it catching up to you. We've got Catalans away and Cas at Magic weekend, rather we approach them with that attitude.
Let's do a professional job, if the opportunity is there to rack up points with regards how Hudds perform then so be it, but I'd full understand if we took our foot off the gas a bit if we get into a comfortable lead, just hopefully don't get as sloppy as the last two 2nd halfs. For me I can understand the worry about Hudds being wounded but I think them only playing on Sunday will really mess up there chances of bouncing back in this one. Around 2-3rds of their 17 will be on a short turnaround.
