| Give any team so many chances to attack your own line and you're going to struggle. We're missing Hall and Briscoe massively.
it's the now traditional custom dip in form it seems, hopefully this time we manage to play ourselves out of it, but unless we can regain our discipline with and without the ball it won't happen

| Everyone has their own opinion on what sinfield has done in the field this season, but this afternoon I don't think anyone can disagree we've missed his on field management

Certainly missed his goal kicking. In a tight game Sutcliffe isn't a reliable enough goal kicker.
On the field too many senior players putting on dumb plays.

| Jus caught result.agh well, not the first and wont be the last 'bigger side' to fall at Widnes this year.Obviously going through a bit of a dip but no team can play top level all year and we still have a 2 point cushion.
Clearly things to iron out but certainly no need for over reactions. Will be nice to get out 2 international wings back and our strike weapon back in the centre for a start.

| Average of 31 points per game conceded in the last three games, against teams that aren't renowned for their attacking flair.
Much of defence is about attitude. Some of this Leeds side don't seem to have much appetite for it when things get a bit tricky. Flat-track bullies? Alright throwing it around when there's space to play, but not prepared to do the grunt work to get into position. Signs were there in the second half of the Saints game when they tore us a new one for 20 minutes. Carried on in that vein, and it's hard to see what's going to change.

| What does Burrow offer at hooker that Sinfield couldn't offer?
At least we would have someone who can kick goals.
Good win for Widnes and certainly opens up the table once again.

| I can only go by what I heard on the radio, but it sounded like we lacked in both on field leadership and discipline. Their last try sounded like a farce. We have dropped 5 out of 6 points in the last 3 games. Like others I a worried about a repeat of last years second half to the season. I would also like to know why Sinny can't get a game.

Agree with that not sure what more Burrow offers. Having said that Aiton was poor once again

| This IS the transition we've been talking about for the last few years, the personnel in pivotal positions is gradually changing and the style of play is also changing, so now is not the time to panic, the players and coaches must refocus and remember just what is required for this team to be successful because we've been like a Farreri with no engine in recent weeks.

| Ominously Wigan keep winning.
Magic weekend should be a good one providing we are not putting all our eggs into the CC basket again.

| poor performance today by the rhinos, but lets not get too disheartened just yet as its a long season and we are still sat in pole position and have only wigan to play both away and at the magic weekend plus a tricky game at home against the saints
we have plenty of winnable home games left to gain the points required for a healthy top 4 finish leading into the super 8 play offs and hopefully will be out of reach of most of the clubs in the top 8

Was tempted earlier to point out that the poor form started just a few days after the draw was made for the CC with us facing a tough opposition, the focus levels seem to have gone out the window.
Wigan have closed the gap and Magic weekend is a big game. However since we beat them at home they've played 6 of their 8 games at home and won them all, and of their two away games one was against Wakey who are dreadful. Apart from that they've failed to win any matches away from the DW this season (and the last few of 2014). Four of their next 6 games are away from home and tough ones too (Catalans, Hudds, Saints, Wire) so they still have to address their away form.
On the other side it's worth remember how much we've played away this season. 9 games compared to 5 home games (3 of which were some of the tougher opposition Wigan, Hudds and Wire). Until the last few weeks we'd gained 12 points from a possible 14 on the road which was miles better than any of us wouldve expected at the beginning of the year. We now have 9 games left until the split. 6 at home, 1 Magic game, and only two away (one of those being the very poor Wakefield).
So we've had to do it quiet tough with the fixture list but it does look to be swinging back more in our favour from now until the split.
