Shame to see a player of tanseys ability slipping down the leagues so early in his career. That said, great signing for York if, as you say, they can keep him on the right track.

There's nothing confirmed in regards to Tansey's selection until he turns up on game day sober and ready to play
A shame really as he is a very talented player but he clearly lacks the application to make it at the top level
I was informed that whilst he was at Dewsbury that he was on big money and that he had a very bad attitude and that the players there were glad when he eventually left and signed for the Crusaders
It will be interesting to see how he fits in at York |

TBF he deserves a chance to finally sort himself out. Yes he's had chances before and squandered them, but maybe absolutely no interest from any SL club is the kick up the arris he needs to finally realise that if he doesnt buck up his ideas he'll just be another drunk propping up bars telling anyone who will listen how he used to be a proffesional RL player at Leeds et al.

Everyone deserves a second chance. Maybe even a third. When you get to fourth, fifth and sixth chances, well..... good luck to him and York. It's not too late for him to make a proper go of his RL career. All depends on his ability to learn his lessons.

If the penny hasn't yet dropped for Tansey, it never will.
I hope the fact that a SL club hasn't stepped in will act like a shot in the arm. If he s-it up at York, Job Club will be calling.
