| Quote KaeruJim="KaeruJim"If he can get more money elsewhere at this point in his career, I’d wish him all the best.
Going to the NRL, if he could get a deal, before his form has returned would be silly. I suspect this is agent talk but who knows.
A move to somewhere like Salford could make sense, hometown club.
All we can do is watch the “Blue Wedding” unfold and see who’s left standing at the end. I imagine Sinfield has various new players lined up and is trying to create budget.'"
I do get the feeling the clear out could be bigger than I first thought for next year, will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Nothing, he's won and done it all.
I'm just wondering what other Leeds fans think.

We need cap space available for new players, but also to retain the best of the youth coming through who will have vultures circling. It’s imperative we’re able to keep the core of this academy side together for several years to come. We also need some real quality adding in key positions.
I just think we should trust in Kevin whatever happens, and then see which new players come in. I suspect we’ll get there in the end, as long as we don’t go down this year.

| I've moved feelings about this. Yes, Watkins has been hash this year, but his injury was significant and he deserves the chance to regain his form. Prior to his injury he was one of our star players and a go to player. Now he's not people want rid. If he costs us huge money on the cap it may be worth considering, but there are far worse players to move on first

I just think we have to leave it to the club to make the call. They see him train, they have his stats etc. If I’m honest I think Kal has been over-rated a bit at times in his career, but you’d have the fully fit version in your starting 13 of course.
If we are having a clear out, we need to act on it and make decisions even if they’re tough, because the longer it drags the more it polluted the culture. Have the cull THIS year, and then make it clear to the remaining players that the club is supporting them.

Plays like he has been smoking hash!!! Only joking, to me he doesn't look well lost size, convidence and personal ain't captain material. Been a great player but if we are to rebuild I'm afraid there be a few shocks providing we stay up.

| It may well be that this story is yet another “Merrin-isn’t-coming”/“Furner-isn’t-coming”/“Merrin’s-going-home”
story as the Aus press is horrendous. And it may well
be that Kal stays, regains his form and plays for England again for all we know.
We shouldn’t just chuck a quality player on the scrap heap for some poor form. Class is permanent and all that.
However IF the club think Kal is never going to fully recover his mobility and pace, they have to make a call.
This is the world of a professional sportsman unfortunately.

| Decent signing IF there's more quality to come in the back row as part of replacing, JJB, Ferres, Ablett and Donaldson maybe.
