I actually agree with this I would rather be in the middle 8 than scrape into the bottom of the 8 with no chance of making top 4 would be a pretty dull end to the year

Personally I would be very happy to see us make the top 8 even with no chance of making the top 4 as it will mean we have got some wins under our belt and hopefully in a better place than we are now.

I think the middle 8's would be better long term - the club would have to seriously re-assess where is was and how it was going to put things back on an even keel. Making the 8 just papers over the cracks.

There is no chance of the club not being in SL - no matter what happens.
