I agree. i have already stated elsewhere i can live with a sub par year, the frustrating thing is the rest of SL is poorer than ever and you don't have to be a great side to be in the mix.The fact we are down in the basement of this pile of mediocrity suffering back to back defeats like we just have shows how bad we are right now.I really do see us picking up no end once Mcguire returns but it i think we may have way too much to do now to get amongst the play offs. Focus may have to turn to a good CC run to salvage anything from the year.

The focus should be on avoiding the middle 8's and the million pound game.

No, the team is struggling to adapt to the loss of three key players whilst those who have assumed the mantle are struggling to find coherence and form, all exacerbated by a major injury crisis. Don't arrogantly assume the only reason mighty Leeds could possibly have a losing run is due to some internal crisis.

No champagne football here. Our outside backs only seem to get a pass when driving ball in on first 3 tackles after a deep opposition kick. I know they are seeking to share the work around but the game seems to be entering a dull age like in aus in early 80's when Canterbury ground teams down.

Spot on. I don't think the dressing room is lost otherwise even though the results and performances haven't been good, a lost dressing room would be losing games by much wider margins.

However, the Sinfield and Peacock factor wasn't as 'needed' for a large part of last year (granted they were still there). I think what we are seeing is a team that just doesn't have the hunger it had last year. Don't get me wrong you can still see that they are trying but it's more of a "auto-pilot" effort than a team that looks determined to win things this year.
