No, I think he will start with Briscoe and BJB will come back in when someone is injured or off form. BMD could do it the other way though, He's said as much in the press. Our coach does have a very good headache regarding our backs this season.

| Looking forward to this. The wing centre partnerships could be awesome but need the ball.
Hall talked about a new structure in his interview the other day.

| Think 15 of the 17 is nailed on. It's between Sutcliffe, Achurch and Clarkson for the last 2 bench spots.
Based on the 2 showings I saw in pre-season I'd go Clarkson over Achurch. Given we've got 3 away games in the first 4 outings (all against top 8 teams from 2013) I'd prefer the better defensive back rower over the better attacking back rower. Would include Sutcliffe as a back rower because he's got an X Factor and him + Watkins + Briscoe in attack would be lethal.
Would opt for Aiton to start but think that's very unlikely, hopefully he still gets decent minutes from the bench. Sure up the middle defence either side of halftime when the starting forwards are having a breather. If Peacock goes off after 30 do you want to introduce Aiton in the middle of defence or introduce and hide Burrow to the edges.

| On the BJB/Briscoe selection, if it was based on Quins game BJB teared it up.

| Really looking forward to this game, our forwards are looking pretty strong and your backs are outstanding. Think it could go either way.

He did have the benefit of coming on against a London side that was out on its feet, and played a significant proportion of his actual game time at full back IIRC?
Thought Briscoe played well enough to merit first shot, seemed to strike up a decent combination with Watkins and looked dangerous in broken field on kick returns and from dummy half early doors.

Completely agree mate its obvious Mags and Sinfield will be 6 and 7 so Suttcliffe will have to make do with a bench spot as will Aiton with RB starting at 9.

I think BJB would have replicated that destruction if he'd been on for 1st half as well. He played with a point to prove and he it made it. BJB was all over the field.
Briscoe played well and was given alot of last tackle kicks put in his direction (which weren't great quality kicks).
It's a nice quandary to have for mac to have. Shame there isn't that level of competition in other areas of the team.
From earlier discussions who would you start at hooker Sunday?

That's a big, mean looking pack & subs if correct.
