Like I stated before the best horror/thriller films I've seen in recent years are REC, The Orphanage and Ringu. Americans then have to make these films almost identical, take away everything that was good about these films and are big budget and absolutely poor.
I seriously doubt Slumdog Millionaire will win the "best picture" oscar as it isn't an American film!

I'm in your age bracket (roughly), so less of the Wee Boy!!!
I saw a film last week called Pathology, with the slogon 'no BODY is safe'. Oh it was fun!! Lots of meat locker students cutting up bodies, then executing perfect murders, then burning the bodies. It was like CSI on speed. Or was that me? It was ok actually, it perked up when the porn started, you know, young people - knifes - blood - hot sex. I think I'll watch it again.

Anyone seen Watchmen yet?
I watched Mark Kermode's review and it was scathing. I'm in two minds now. It's one of those films that could easily be messed up badly.
