After hearing off some credible sources and some digging, it seems a lot is coming in the next few weeks, players not been offered contracts, Luke Gale has signed, Luke Thompson has been offered big money, Ashurst has been offered a deal, also a big name hooker. Salford are chasing Dwyer, Walker offered multiple contracts in the NRL, I hope some is true and some isn’t.

Also contact has been made with multiple coach’s, no names though.

So who are Saints getting in return? Thompson’s contract runs until the end of next year, and we wouldn’t let him go for nothing (he’s not Matty Smith!)

Also the Thompson families relationship with the club would mean I am absolutely amazed if he went anywhere other than the NRL if he left Saints.

Walker's agent mentioned on a podcast a couple of weeks ago when asked about Walker that there is definitely interest from the NRl, but he said although the decision is completely down to the player, he would advise him that he need to really prove himself as the best in SL before he'd be able to command the really big money over there. He said the last time he was in a similar situation was with Baldwinson and Mason Tonks, and if he was in a similar situation again he would go do things differently.

He also said luke gale has unfinished business with cas and wants to win a grand final there.

Myler is ok but doesn’t do it for me, Suttys best position is 13, he’s not a 6. Tui needs to be released, he just ain’t cutting it. Ward needs to really consider his playing career, cos 6 games a season ain’t helping at all, JJB needs to announce immediate retirement, Brett ferris as well, I quite like Ablett but the time out isn’t helping. Dwyer is better than Parcell for me, he shows more willing and try’s harder, Parcell isn’t interested anymore. Watkins needs to be dropped altogether and given some more time, he isn’t ready. The wingers need beefing up. Peteru doesn’t offer anything and Singleton is poor. Merrin needs to made Captain and release pressure from Watkins. A coach needs to announced sooner rather than Later, I like Agar as an assistant. There is so much to be done, but will it get done? Or will we cheap it out again and keep scraping by? A club of this Calibre and facilities and money at their disposal and even the Calibre of the players we shouldn’t be in this position. We need to show some pride, grit, determination and want to play for the Jersey not steal a wage.
