Have a read of this weeks League Express too, piece about Browny returning home, talks about how we got to C/Cup and how 2 video decisions went against us there too? maybe the writer of the piece follows the C&G or maybe he was sat in the stands surrounded by screaming giants fans when he wrote the piece. maybe it was another example of a refs integrity being brought into question?

I bet you are probably right on that score too Tad, again this all comes down to consistency (of which there is none) and possibly integrity of refs which needs looking into.

Thaler always seemed biased towards us, Silverwood, Ganson and Bentham the opposite? who knows what goes on in their heads and if it's just coincidence or something deeper.

Having a ref who comes from the town of the club he is reffing or one who is a member of a clubs supporter group leaves the whole thing open for ridicule and question.

I could imagine Alex Ferguson reaction if a game between Man Utd and Chelsea was reffed by someone from Chelsea!!

The Salary cap has been a fantastic thing and without interference works a treat, teams like Crusaders beating Wigan and Salford beating Saints and us is great for the game overall.

The problem is the RFL are complete buffoons and need shaking up cos at the mo they and the refs are just not upto the job, too many games being won after errors by the officials, the touchjudges may as well not be there.

i agree with parts of what you say. thaler reffed us v warrington and got slaughtered by some, but at times he was staring at the touch judges obviously wanting help and got nothing. he then had to make a call himself.
the refs are far too inconsistent i agree, but to me the man at the top is a complete buffoon. since cummings took over the standard of reffing has dropped alarmingly. we need someone like mcallum back, he did a great job.

Agree mate but then again Cummings was a complete twerp when he reffed so what else can be expected?
