Quote: Omar Little "What other reason can he have to twist the leg like that. As said above, if he wants to slow the PTB he can just cling on.

Ablett certainly reacted like he thought it was deliberate from his front row view'"

He was trying to slow him down, it a split second you don't have time to think, he made the wrong decision, but I don't believe for one second that Sneyd has deliberately tried to injury McGuire.

Sneyd must be a bit dim if he thought his actions would not result in pain and possible injury.

No doubt "he was only trying to slow down the PTB" will be offered as mitigation. The criteria though is whether he does something that involves a significant risk of injury, and you would have to be some sort of idiot to think that didn't involve a very significant risk of injury to McGuire.

I cant argue with that. showed really good hands and speed of thought for the tries, and put in some really good defence.
I thought Ward had a great game again today, and both Sinny and McGuire were very good

Just as bad as the heel hook by the guy in Championship One for me, should have been a straight red and should cop the same 12+ game suspension.

I haven't seen the championship one incident, do you have a link to the video.

Chase got 8 matches for a much worst tackle and had much more previous than Sneyd.

https://vimeo.com/130765059 (start around 15 seconds, it's that tackle)

That heel hook is a lot more pre-determined than what Sneyd did but they're both awful and deserve the same grade due to the nature.

Keinhorst MoM for me and like has been said Walters was very poor. Zak,Hall, Watkins and McGuire played very well so did Ward once again.
Did the ref get a kick out of Ward taking his kit off so many times during that game?
I too do not think Sneyd tried to injure McGuire. Clumsy yes, trying to turn him over yes. But no player with the exception of maybe Chase and Hock would go out to ruin a fellow players season.
Unfortunately it looks like we will have Burrow back to partner Sinfield for a few weeks with possibly Lilley or Robbie Ward on the bench. I do hope Handley can grab a try or two this week as his confidence looks shot.
I was also impressed with Watts for Hull, niggly, aggressive with a good leg drive and good hands.

It is and much worst than Sneyds and totally different, time to think and more men in the tackle.

I can't believe Gronk is trying to compare it.

Not disagreeing it's much worse (just because of how pre-determined that one clearly is) but they're both attacks on the oppositions ankle (Sneyd even has 2 goes icon_eek.gif ) that have caused injuries.

That one is the most obvious grade F you'll ever see, there can be a case made for Sneyd to receive the same charge to set an example and wipe out a scummy act.

A more realistic number though would probably be 4-8 for the recklessness because they'll be hard press to prove intent, unless they argue the 2nd attempt is proof of intent.

Hicks should have sent him off though.
