| However you cut it, not having enough money in the bank to be able to pay your employees at the end of the month is not indicative of a business in sound financial health.
Without matchday income and with season ticket numbers unlikely to increase much if at all, September through to December in particular could be tough months ahead trying to balance the books.

Their average attendance so far is about 4k down on the corresponding fixtures last season. It's difficult to translate that into actual cash as we don't know how many are season ticket holders and who's paying on the gate but it must be a fair whack of income down on last season, especially for them, even with the ridiculous cheap deals they do.

Not sure how a £60 charitable donation to a club in financial trouble may be considered as "cashing in". Perhaps you could enlighten me as to how you arrived at such an erroneous conclusion?

Certainly. Having taken the moral high ground about Bradford's past conduct.....
Quote: William Eve " I no longer give a crap about them. If they go to the wall and disappear then so be it. They are usually one of the first SL clubs on the scene when other SL clubs are in trouble, either attempting to vote a team out of the comp entirely (eg, London) or asset stripping struggling clubs of their players.'"
...and knowing you as a supreme bludger it was fairly obvious what your motivation was for cashing in at a club that would conduct itself in the way you describe.
Did you "give a crap" when you bought the cheap season ticket or not, given that you did so after they did all the things you accuse them of?
William Eve, Super League's greatest detractor, who delites in telling us all about his indifrerence to it yet is happy to sign up to a season of it if it's bargain basement priced. Cheap cheap cheap.

| As a Bulls fan,I would hope that the signings we have made so far for next season will show to our stay away fans we are going in the right direction. Think if we can build slowly and maybe get a couple of thousand more season ticket holders coming back that's a good start.
The Sky money or lack of it really must be hurting,no club can stand that for 2 seasons without it telling.
Anyway, you seem to be our friend since administration for us last year, but surely we need it back to been proper rivals,in the nicest possible way, obviously

Your erroneous conclusions with regard to me "cashing in" is therefore based upon nothing more than your very own jaundiced opinions then? Thanks for clearing that up.
Quote: G1 "William Eve, Super League's greatest detractor, who delites in telling us all about his indifrerence to it yet is happy to sign up to a season of it if it's bargain basement priced. Cheap cheap cheap.'"
It was a charitable donation as evidenced by my attendance which totalled significantly less than 80 minutes at Odsal throughout that entire season. It therefore stands to reason that my £60 outlay could not be regarded as "cashing in" in any way, shape or form... not unless one were to arrive at such a bizarre conclusion by way of a perfunctory and jaundiced mindset.

So, you would have me believe you were happy to make a charitable donation to an organisation you allegedly didn't give a crap about, an organisation that you say are "one of the first SL clubs on the scene when other SL clubs are in trouble, either attempting to vote a team out of the comp entirely (eg, London) or asset stripping struggling clubs of their players."
It's illogical that you would make a donation to such an organisation unless you're a hypocrite.
Admit it, you're just cheap.

| Jeff, you are most money careful person I have met the idea of you donating £60 to anything is beyond comprehension

| It is clear Bradford is in a mess, there owner has just pumped money into the club, just to keep it afloat, how long will he do this or can he afford to do it. I wonder if the answer for Bradford and other clubs in trouble is not to look for a sugar daddy, but turn into a club run and owned by its supporters. But I do fear for Bradford, the people of Bradford appear to have walked with there feet, who can blame them after what happened with all the money they gave to the club last year.
When all the dust has settled it would be interesting if a journalist with full access to the books could do a book on where it all went wrong and what other clubs could learn

| The answer is not more investment, it's understanding that you cut your cloth to suit your means. The Bulls have a wage bill that is simply unsustainable at their current level of income.

Yep. It's about reducing expenditure and working harder and smarter at increasing income. Leeds did 2 or 3 years ago, hence the big profit last year.

So why did you buy a season ticket if you wanted top make a 'charitable donation', why didn't you just put £60 in an envelope and hand it to the club?

| What the Bulls need is a wealthy backer - that'd sort them out.
