Some of the French RU outside backs are good to watch, but that isn't going to happen. Baille is a decent player, and wouldn't be a bad signing, would add some depth to the squad.
Hape is not really one for the future, and has magically swapped all his skill for a bit of extra size since switching codes. No thanks. Tuilagi is a beast of a man and would go well in either code, but will be on some fairly serious (and rising) coin in RU, so that also isn't going to happen.

You reckon?
I'm not convinced he has the hands to make it as a rugby league outside back to be honest, although that might happen for him over time when he absorbs the idea he can't just run over everyone he faces. |

I think he's a fairly uncomplicated weapon. He isn't the most creative player in the world, but we don't produce many creative centres in this country. While it would be nice to have a player who can find imaginative ways to unlock a defence, if you can't find one then a player who can just batter the door down is the next best thing. |

I've looked on a few London Irish forums and there's no speculation that Hape is leaving. I know Gary H keeps negotiatons top secret but usually some news slips out. So the mystery possible new signing who can make a difference to the team is still a mystery! Are the Catalan players still on Gary H's radar screen?

Would guess that both the French and Webb rumour have more to do with it being the off season and nothing better than a good rumour. That said they will probably both be true |

Pellisier and Baitieri are two young players who look like they could become very good indeed, although tbh I hope they stay and develop at Catalans.
Baille I think would be a useful squad signing, but isn't exactly a difference maker in the Senior/Buderus/Lauititi combined wage bracket. |
