By your argument Cas should have been re instated in the SL when your team deliberately cheated the salary cap to avoid relegation.

Where would Wigan be if that had happened?

Danny, was it ewnefork's address that you had because this insidious little shizer deserves it publishing if it was?

3. As for brother Joel Tomkins and his kick out at McGuire... well it was stupid on his part and ultimately cost Wigan the game! However, when you take into account that IMO Leeds should already have been down to 12 men following the potetially neck breaking spear tackle on Prescot by Danny Buderus. I feel that this levels the playing field somewhat.

What about the text book spear tackle on Prescott ? You miss that ?'"

Have you considered actually reading the messages you reply to?

There were two incidents last night that could be interpreted as spear tackles, one by each team. In my eyes neither were spear tackles, they were dangerous lifts, but they landed on their backs. Penalty, the disciplinary may have a look but I can only see penalty as the right call on both.

One offence to save a game, is not the same as a side cheating it's way through 80 minutes week in week out. That's the Wigan way, it is Wigan that are disgraceful cheats.

Oh, and when Tomkins scored right at the foot of the posts, why was the conversion taking from right between the posts? Only a small point, and Richards would have scored from where it should have been taken*, but still, it was dodgy....

*his backside hadn't fallen through at that point.

What I find simply staggering about some of the comments posted on the Wigan board is the myopic nature of them. Danny pulled Carmont back, it was a professional foul and was worthy of a penalty and 10 minutes in the bin but do they really honestly think that had it been the other way around none of the Wigan players would have done exactly the same thing?????? Are they really that stupid????

I suspect I could list a good number of players from both sides who would have done exactly the same thing. In fact I would bet my house on a certain golden balls himself, Sam Tomkins, doing exactly the same thing in exactly the same situation.

McGuire pulling back Carmont was born purely out of desperation, exasperation and passion for the win. Nothing more of nothing less, wishing a player injured is very low indeed!

It's despicable frankly. Most of these Wigan fans doing it don't post on here regularly but Ewenfork does and I hope everyone makes him feel "welcome" when he does.

Ewenfork is a kn0bhead of the highest order. He tries to worm his way in as a friend of certain posters, then lowers himself to this sort of comment when it suits.

Keep him off these boards.

Yes they are

McGuire pulls a shirt and they wish injury on him, Tomkins kicks a player on the floor and it doesn't even get mentioned.

Complete knobends

I should also add that your mate Ferosious (Spelling) Ardvaark is also adding his twopenneth in now. Trying to alude that McGuire missing a game is probably justice, and that he should be banned anyway.

Banned for what? the offence has happened many a times this year, usually resulting in a penalty, but sometimes missed, and some of those times resulting in a sinbin at worst.

On the VT Ferocious Arsefart has said if he was Ref he would have given a penalty try.

I wouldn't worry too much about the Arsefarts ramblings, he may be detatched from reality but I don't think he's classless enough to wish injury on a player, even a Leeds one.

It was a professional foul and McGuire should have seen yellow, no more or no less. The timing (time in the game I mean) of any professional foul does not make a difference to the punishment... that is not how it works!

If, and it is still an IF, Alibert did ask Bentham to formally look at the incident then Bentham should have told Alibert to give McGuire a yellow for his record, but for some reason they didn't!

I'm glad someone else noticed that. I first thought what is Tomkins doing grounding it at the side of the sticks? Turns out it didn't matter.
