Quote: tvoc "But can the Aussies play for the full eighty?'"

doesn't matter against us because they don't need 80 mins to get a game locked up. You call it as you see it minus blinkers. Surely that call says once again as a team we are simply not on their level. They are too consistent.

The Kiwis beat them by having some consistency themselves and staying in range all game, enthusiastic tough defence and top it off by raising the intensity a couple of times a game, which has tipped it in their favour recently.

England neither play as a team, play tough and compete or show consistency.

You hate to acknowledge good performances in the national shirt, just because of who they play for at club level?

Seriously?

Edit - misread sorry. But then it changes to "you hate to acknowledge a good performance for England, just because you didn't rate them?"

From a Saints fan - I though Sinfield played very well today.

McGuire on the other hand was HOPELESS!!!

Must be Eastmond & Tompkins at half back next week.

The pack was outstanding and in the 2nd half even the backs who have been knocked were very good.

thought mcguire did some poor things today but wasn't on his own and also saved at least 3 trys defusing kicks and plays! His defencive effort was bang on! eg when slater scored in the first half! Mcguires man was lockyer he covered him then almost stopped the best attacking fullback in the world! He did will to try and hold the line to say tom briscoe went walk about kevin penny style!

your Hopeless comment says you don't watch the full game and you have a hidden agenda! But your bang on re sinfield

No hidden agenda at all - just saying what I saw!!!

McGuire had a hand in 3 of Aussies tries either with a poor decision, lack of pace, or a poor pass, which led to the Inglis interception try.

I like McGuire and think he's a very very good player but isn't good enough against Aussies or Kiwis - time to give the new blood of EASTMOND AND TOMPKINS a go next week.

We can't be any worse than we were in the first half.

Its incredible that the usual suspects decide that an Aussie side 26-0 up at half time thought about anything in the 2nd half other than getting through it, they sat at 1st gear and cruised, which is commendable because if they had rattled up 60 what credibility would the International game have??

The only positive is that the change in intensity has set SL up to be a competitive brand, it just isn't.

And as for Sinfield, how many of you actually think he would make the starting 13 for any side in the NRL? icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

You lot talk absolute garbage, you're pathetic Leeds believests who think he can walk on water, today he was walking in treacle.

let me tell you what I saw! Lack of pace? he kept up with inglis who is one of the quickest centres in the world! Granted he didn't catch him but inglis didn't get away from him

second thing I can think of may be the slater try when mcguire did he job marking Lockyer then cover for others and nearly tackled arguably the quickest and best attacking fullback in the world!

for the intercept at this level burgess could have and should have taken that pass! and probably would have if he hadnt have knocked on the previous pass and wasn't a bag of nerves when he came on!

Mcguires decision making and organisation at this intensity is poor he either dithers and gets caught in posession or drifts accross the field and gives a nothing ball eg flicking the ball at burgess.

I wasn't being altogether serious.

Will we ever see an England side capable of extended the Aussies past forty minutes in any given match?
