I know there’s uk interest but I’m sure he said he wants to stay in the NRL preferably.

I think Westerman would be very good signing, when he plays we look a better side, scored a lot of trys this year and works very hard, particularly in defence, maybe not as flash as he once was but an 80 minute player.

Negatives, would be he he seems to pick up a few injuries and misses a few games and possible his attitude, will be his 4th club in 2 years and the state in which he was when he joined us was embarrassing (Although he quickly got himself fit)

Why on earth would we want to sign Luke Gale ffs?
Another like Watkins who will be coming back from a season long injury and look at how Watkins is playing.
Gale 3 years ago would have been my choice but certainly not now.

People can come back from long injuries, and stronger. I am not suggesting go for Gale like, as their is better options. Watkins problems IMO have nothing to do with this injury now.

Alex Mellor out of contract and available for next year, we were interested a few years back when he left bulls. Would be a decent addition IMO.

Westerman is a much better player than Mellor, and you have seen the comments on that possible.

Westerman is an over hyped past his best p!$$ head Mellor is still yet to reach his potential. Huge difference.

Give over Mark. Mellor will never teach Westerman's level. I agree on the ego thing, but just ignoring talent is daft.
