| You will be fine. We(HKR) have suffered big time once in this stupid comp were if you finish 9th you could be relegated, but the team that finishes rock bottom could survive. Time for it to go. That said your game against Salford will be interesting, but you don,t want the MPG, it,s a nightmare, were a bad call can send you down. We(HKR) are nowhere near safe and cannot go down again. I,m still very worried it could happen again..If you finish bottom, you should be relegated, end of.

It’s a shame the young Scottish half back isn’t allowed to play.

Widnes are in last chance solution, their hunger SHOULD be very high, if they have any professionalism about them. A loss for them and they are finished. Salford, whilst have wins are not as good as Hull KR, and we can at least say we came close on that. So at this stage for me Widnes is the more worrying.'"
yes and if we lose that confidence will nosedive this team will throw in the towell

| If in all our remaining games we showed genuine fortitude in defence we'd have a good shout of winning all of them. With the kind of shambolic attitude we have been showing we could easily lose 2 games. That's what I don't understand - its great that we're now scoring points and Sinfield can sound all calm in press conferences, but there's more starch in his shirts than our defence. Yet every single expert on the game will tell you that defence is about effort and attitude as a team and should be the first thing addressed when a team is struggling.

| Time to move Ward on, decent player but just not worth his wage. Constantly injured.

rarely finishes a game, rarely plays back to back, plays one as 4 off. needs a pay as you play contract, we cannot keep carrying this type of player.

| Bloody hell we have been carrying JJB and Delaney for the last three years, and up until the realisation hits at just how much backwards we have gone, they are classed as legends and all ok to keep going until they want.
Here we are with Ward, who is a far superior player to those two have ever been, and people want him written off.
Wards problems have been the way he has been used, and can be overcome. If we had fitter players around him instead of the waste of cap space on the other two I mentioned, then those issues would rapidly go away.

Agreed, yes he's had a bad run of injuries but calls for him to be shipped out is just ridiculous, he is a class act.

| Stevie Ward would be one of the last players I would want to lose from the club. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see him retire early. He's a bright kid, he can do other things in the game besides getting broken up every week.

| Over the past few years he has been bulked up and the skill element has been made to take a backseat out of his game. If he continues to be used as a battering Ram then i fear for his long term playing future. Cam Smith and cuthbertson were forced down the same route to the detriment of their form and in Smiths case his development.
