I challenge anyone to deny that the first two lines of that match report posted on this forum were not written with the intention to kid himself/fellow rhinos fans that a draw was a good result for them.

indeed, Rhinos should have won tonight, they fully deserved to, but couldn't cope in the final part of the game with our fitness levels. But hey let's remember it's only April, a long long way to go yet

Having said all that I thought Wigan would steamroller Leeds.
But Leeds looked the better side and played really well.

We ran out of gas, credit to Wigan for coming back. We blew enough chances to be out of sight by half time, but I take more encouragement from the first 60 minutes than I am disheartened by the last 15. We started to play proper rugby again especially in the first half, that sort of form will see us with half a chance come the end of the season. Of course to throw away that lead is dissapointing, but we took the normally stingy Wigan defence apart on numerous occasions, had Senior x2 and Hall not bombed guilt edged chances we'd have been on easy street.

P.S. Bless the Bradford fans trying to take some form of solice in us drawing with the Wigan side that banjoed them a few weeks ago. They've got to find something to keep them warm whilst they live in our shadow.

We'll have a better idea in 2 weeks if that's true. Leeds played well for 60mins last night although Wigan were dire. Unfortunately for Leeds their forward passes were pulled up which makes a refreshing change
