Just checked JP's stats from previous years and compared it to his 2009 stats. He really REALLY isn't in decline.

Peacock is a terrific player, one of my faves from the last 10 years or so, mainly due to his approach in an England shirt and his obvious hatred for Aussies.
Graham deserves to be in the running for MoS, I know you guys don't like him but he's been incredible this year, better than last year in the circumstances as foar as I'm concerned.

However.......and this is probably not a criticism of Graham............too much is made of his metres made. That he does all the work of the Saints pack does not make him effective or indeed the Saints forwards effective. That stats are nice and showy but to put them into perspective he's broken a record recently held by Jamie Flowers.
Just because he runs the ball a lot, lot more than any other player doesn't make him the best in his position.
I do wish we could instill his work rate into a couple of our forwards but it might dilute their effectiveness in other areas. I also think graham would be a much, much better player with a lesser workload and as his workload seems to be the main reason he's being championed that is a bit of a double edged sword.
I lost a tonne of respect for him the other week and think of him wit ha little bit of derision since but would I like to see him in Blue and Amber? Yes.

| How can Peacock and Morley be in the dream team and then Graham be up for MOS? What do Leeds have to do to get a MOS winner.
Hodgson will win it IMO.

| I think G1 has it spot on.
Graham is a terrific player and although I think he's a 2wat you can't fault his ability on the field.
However he'll be burnt out like fielden by his late 20's.
As g1 rightly pointed out he could be even better if he was used more sparingly.

MOS is voted for by the players, that's the difference.
I wouldn't be bothered about a leeds player winning it.
Leeds are a very good unit and don't rely on any one player especially.

| Graham should win it, that way during half time when Leeds are handing Saints another GF defeat I can sit back, watch the Ginger Blubber Cry Baby running the ball in for the 80th time/game in order for his Opta stats to look good.

I should imagine quite a lot of players have voted for Graham and has more respect from them than some of the fans on here. The opposition have tried to knock him off his perch, game etc. But despite his sulkiness he,s had to play front out prop in almost every game. Morley and Peacock have had the benefit of help from their fellow props, Graham has not had this advantage which makes it more remarkable what he has achieved......mind you he is the current man of steel.
