I need to see more of A Sutcliffe to form an opinion but I can see Broadbent coming past him into the centres this season, and we are stacked in the back row already. He is a very good defender though - maybe a Donaldson apprentice, who knows.

Broadbent has to do more pace better hands and feet. I just hope Broadbent gets a decent chance at centre. Hurrell from I've read could be out for a few weeks. Apparently he has torn his calf. The article said he's been struggling preseason with it but doesn't say when he tore it. If it's a grade 1 tear then 1 to 2 weeks, grade 2 to 4 to 6 weeks grade 3 to 4 months.

Hurrell's size and conditioning makes this no surprise sadly..

Surely anyone can tear a hamstring regardless of conditioning. Jai Field mightve torn his last night and hes hardly a fatwhack.

Weve certainly had a bad start with the numbers we have out. Hopefully it gives an opportunity to Broadbent but i wouldnt be suprised to see Briscoe and Sutcliffe boys today if halves are Eastmond and Gale.

Only 150k counts but they have to be paid more than 175k, I am fairly sure that if its a home grown player only 100k would count instead of the 150k, for example Sinfield in his playing days
