Very interesting to hear him talk about how some of the pride has been lost in playing for Leeds.

Its constantly amazing how quickly successful sports teams can go from being held in the highest esteem even outside the sport to freefalling into also-rans. Whilst recruitment etc has been a problem, I still think the club as a whole reacted dreadfully to the events of 2016, and last year helped create the false impression that all would be good this year when everyone was fit. A mix of overconfidence in the coaches and players, and a lack of understanding what it was that made the culture work over the golden decade.

The decision to go the season with only one proven half back (Myler) has been disastrous in my opinion, especially as he's usually been behind a well beaten pack.

The club clearly assumed that Moon would develop into a proper stand off. He hasn't looked remotely like a 6 when given a go there at different clubs previously, so I'm not sure why they thought it would suddenly click for him.

A point I have made many times on here - he will never make a stand off, he has no kicking game and struggles to pass accurately.
