Interesting Keinhorst has played the pre-season games at centre. I wonder if McDermott is getting Keinhorst game time in the centre because Moon is going to play 6.

I don't think Moon at 6 is the answer, but Sutty just doesn't do it for me. There's only so many times that stepping inside off your left foot is going to fool anyone, and unfortunately you can read a one trick pony like a book. No game control again from the halves last night, and getting caught with the ball on the last so many times, is again a bit of a worry.

Ormonroyd has looked good from the bits I have seen of him this pre-season. Maybe a regular in the 17 more than we had anticipated?

I think Keinhorst has played well in pre-season and I'd currently have him in over Watkins but obviously that won't happen. Briscoe looks out of shape and out of form for me also. Handley must be pushing him close at the moment for a winger shirt.

I have not been overly impressed by Sutcliffe so far and I still have my doubts over Golding. He has an abundance of potential but he isn't quite cutting it for me at the moment. Forwards, we have too many workmanlike players and not enough attacking threat. I would like to see Baldwinson played more however.

Typical pre season game, all about getting game time. On a cold and wet evening I thought it went well. To much power when full team out but then the rythm went with the continuous adding of subs, made much harder to see who was who by the floodlighting. If anything it shows sutty will not make a stand off and we will have to hope danny remains fit.
On the plus side I thought Golding went well again as did Jimmy K, Parcell showed he his going to be a handful and Garbutt put in a good shift. As I stated after the KR game Ormonroyd looks a good prospect and should get a lot of game time. All in all a decent workout, pity as some one said the prices had been hiked but not unreasonably so

Good to see your priorities are in the right place Tad.

I know you had a young team out but that doesn't matter around these parts, as proven by some of the reactions on here to our defeat on Boxing Day.
Should be a good game tomorrow though, will be looking for the result with interest.

You keep churning out these bullsh*# posts that don't even come close to recognising the context of which those posts you refer to were made & keep mentioning a game you didn't even attend.
