| It's all about collective responsibility playing a team sport,it's that simple, train hard, get the coaching side implemented effectively, sort out a game plan, walk over the whitewash,do the business.we all know about the injury situation, but if all the team was fully fit,I don't see us getting much different results.its all about next season now.any more dear john letters from Gary will just show what utter contempt he has for the fans.

| Quote Andy Gilder="Andy Gilder"I think Galloway has at least had a dig. Put some good shots in defensively even when the game was gone.

Yeah, forgot him. He has actually been one of the few to stick at it from minute one.Took a lot of stick on here first few weeks but has steadily improved, credit to him.

| Quote Biff Tannen="Biff Tannen"Players who can hold their head up for me over last few weeks - Handley,Keinhorst,Golding,Lilley,Burrow,Garbutt,JJB
The rest need to have a serious look in the mirror and do some real soul searching imo.'"
Just on tonight's showing I'd say Burrow & Lilley. Golding tried hard to stop the constant siege that coming towards him especially in the 2nd half. Whilst JJB struggled badly in defence he still have some carries that looked like he gave a damn. Galloway was ok and produced probably the only good crushing tackle we made all night on Dorn.
After his try not much from Garbutt. Handley got a try but apart from that could join the other culprits and people have overexaggerated his performances just we can't count Hall and Briscoe aren't missed. He's not handled kicks and was lazy in preventing Gale's 40/20 and the usual starters have been slammed for those things. Can't believe some wanted Hardaker as captain. Looked like a performance from somebody not happy because he got asked to play on the wing so wasn't bothered.

| 1. I can't believe Hardaker is not playing at full-back. The worst thing you can do with somebody out of form is to shunt them to a position they are unaccustomed to. It only takes one good game to regain form, but he's unlikely to do it from the wing/centre.
2. Realistically, the attack suffers from not having Hall, Moon and Briscoe. Put those three back into the backline and it becomes more dangerous.
3. In the modern game, the pivotal positions (full back, halves and hooker) are vital. They are the positions in which successful teams always have top players. At the moment, your best full back is one the wing, your halves are weak and you have no 9.

| We need a Roy Francis type to come in and rebuild like he did when we were in the doldrums in the early sixties

Firatly it's not a position he's unaccustomed to.
Secondly, I'm surprised he's been moved there but if his response is to put in a half ar$ed showing because he's been asked to play another role then he shouldn't waltz back into his usual position. At least Golding was one of the few guys who tried tonight.

| I don't think its a big player overhaul needed. Yes a few may need to move on but its the coaching set up, a new voice, new ideas that this group need now.Somebody to reinvigorate players who clearly need a re boot. Over to GH but as others have said, he is likely to be too stubborn to act immediately.

| Quote William Eve="William Eve"Same here.
I'm not McDermott's biggest fan but he deserved better from his players than that effort tonight.
If P45's are going to be handed out shortly, a lot of those players should be at the front of the queue.
I'd start with Hardaker.'"
Hardaker, for whatever reason, has been completely f'ed over by McDermott this season.
You don't put a guy who was proven to be the league's best fullback - indeed was judged by his peers to be the league's best player - out on the wing while you play an unproven kid whose confidence you could shatter at fullback - along with hooker the most important position in th modern game (not that we bother playing a booker either).
It's bizarre, and can only be the equivalent of a punishment beating or whatever it was they did in the Marines. He won't be the first player to get that treatment - he hasn't even been the first this season - but it's a spectacular way of cutting off your nose to spite your face. Even an off-form Hardaker stops some of the Cas tries tonight. In fact, when he finally switched there after an hour we stopped leaking points.

| I know we are not privvy to internal decisions, but I would love to know BMD's reasoning for playing Hardaker on the wing & Goulding at FB. Goulding, whilst enthusiastic, was cast around like a rag doll all night, with Hardaker twiddling his thumbs on the wing.
Then, lo & behold, BMD decides at 6 v 42 on the scoreboard to switch Hardaker back to FB.
Now I know Hardaker has not been in top form (who has?), but surely in times of strife you keep your tried & tested internationals in their best positions.
Also, with our much-talked-about injury problems, what has happened with Singleton? Surely he's a better bet on the bench than Achurch & Walters?

Really? How often has he played on the wing.
He played full-back at Featherstone and I don't remember him playing anywhere but there for Leeds, although I don't watch every game.
He certainly didn't win MoS playing on the wing.
Send him to us, we could do with a back-up for Dorn.

We stopped leaking points but I'd put that down to Cas taking their foot off the gas and most importantly JJB was moved away from that 2nd row position that constantly saw them waltz down that right hand channel.
