Like any player he is replaceable. Only caveat is if the club have told him they are letting him go.

losing Sinfield and Burrow and McGuire not yet signed on and bringing in a 24 year old championship halfback isn't looking particularly positive.

McGuire will be here next year I'm certain.

After that it'll be interesting to see just how many signings will be made throughout the upcoming months, because when you include all the guys out on loan too then the 'outs' list at the end of 2015 is potentially looking quite big.

The only ones I can see that are out on loan/DR still having a future here are Mulhern, Baldwinson, Minchella. There's a possibility the likes of Keinhorst and Tonks could still be Leeds 'players' next year but realistically they won't be involved. If Moon isn't fit for this weekend and Keinhorst still can't make the squad then that pretty much confirms his future at the club.

I'd like us to sign him but cannot see GH being happy with a big 'IF' like that as having to wait until September to see if Leigh come up is surely far too late in the day to then court other HB signings IF indeed we are looking to bring in another HB?

At this stage with Sinny going, you'd also think GH knows if Burrow is going to be offered a new deal or if indeed he's already informed the club that he's going, in which case another HB signing would make sense but surely we can't put 'all our eggs in one basket' on Brierley and then find out in September that he's staying with Leigh because they've got promoted.

Our 'second' choice will probably by that late stage have already done a deal with another club in which case we lose out on two potential targets.

Brierley is 24 and has played about 3 competitive games against SL teams - too old. Add to that his style which is a runner to Ridyards guile not understanding the clamour for him?

Indeed.If Leeds really want or wanted Brierley then he would be here by now imo. No way a Championship club could beat off a top end SL club who wanted a player badly.
