| I think this will be won by Leeds, we are hit and miss this season. Some good results but few convincing.
It's an even contest, i expect it to be tight but leeds by 6-12 points for me.

Does any one know which strip the boys will be wearing on Saturday?'"
Should be the home kit for Leeds with Wire in white as the match is listed in the fixtures on different sites as 'Leeds vs Warrington'....and that's not a case of alphabetical as the other game is 'Widnes vs Castleford'. So we're 'technically' the home team.

Apparently we are in white, our away kit.
Anyone not looking forward to this game may as well pack it all in and not just RL. I've had butterflies all day and by the time Saturday comes I'm hoping that a few pre match beers will sort my 'hors d'ouevres' out. I have you to win a close game but will be predicting a close in for us on our board.
Should be a beltin' day out especially if both teams bring their A games and as long as your Kev isn't slotting one over with a minute to go.....I'd have to stay out to drown my sorrows

| Quote cheekydiddles="cheekydiddles"On the basis of our games over the last 3-4 years I'd give us a 5 out of 10 chance of us winning as we've done well against them at home,GF and that incredible GF eliminator win at their place, but in league games at their place, with the odd exception, they've pretty much blown us away.
On the basis of the form of both teams prior to May I'd give us an 8 out of 10 chance of winning.
Based SOLELY on the form of both teams these last 2 months I'd give us a 3 out of 10 chance of winning
As we know though this group of players CAN (or at least have been able to in the past) raise their game way and above what they've displayed previously so anything COULD happen.
It wouldn't totally shock me if we turned up with our 'A' game and won but there hasn't been much,if any evidence of our 'A' game since the magic weekend so I'm not that confident but one thing is for sure if Warrington perform to or close to their ability we are going to need our 'A' game to have any chance.
Can the Coach/players recall what the 'A' game was and more importantly implement the moves/tactics to achieve that game?
Historically over the last decade they have (more often than not....bar some of the CC Finals) been able to so let's see but I think we will have to reach the heights of the two play off campaigns where we won it from 5th to win Saturday AND AGAIN if we are to actually bloody win the Cup for a change.
My heart says we can do it but my head is not as convinced given we've shown hardly any glimpses of top form these last 2 months. We've either lost close games with scratchy performances or ground out wins with equally scratchy performances and our attack hasn't fired for a while.
Granted other teams around us have also been losing games unexpectedly and sometimes really heavily (which we have avoided= heavy defeats) but the big difference for me is that these other teams have also put other teams to the sword in between these losses, whereas we haven't'"
I think you may have over thought this. For me it's a coin toss. Pity I'll probably be stuck in 70 miles of traffic on the M5 (unless I drag everyone out of bed at 5am - in which case I'll be stuck in 40 miles of traffic with 3 miserable whingers).

| Yes looking forward to it. As others have said isn't this why we watch sport? Even if we were in Bradford's position in the league I would be looking forward to it. Too much thought gone in by some people, it's a cup game you always have a chance to win.

| I'm going to say it.
IF we win there is a good chance we will play Widnes in the Challenge Cup Final.
Just let that sink in for a moment.
C'mon Leeds!

It might just explain the long string of lacklustre half hearted performances....the club, team and all concerned realised that one more energy conserved all or nothing match this Saturday and it would mean their best (last) chance to lift the elusive silverware they all no doubt crave.
One more (none seen all season) tactics saved for these remaining 2 wembley trail matches and job done.

I personally have a feeling that Widnes will beat Cas on Sunday. I have watched Cas a lot, and they are very good at times this year. Millington is very important to them though, and missing. Carney, although IMO over rated, lays a good go forward for them. But most of all, and the reason I have this feeling, Cas are just too confident and cock sure.
For Leeds people spend far too much time over rating some players, and putting down some others. The fact is it boils down to two players, Sinfield and Peacock. If them two come off that field and put in their best efforts, then it is likely that Leeds have performed, and probably won. If those two are not at their best, then the opposite happens, no matter which team mates are around them.

| Disagree re-Sinfield/JP Gotcha I think we need more than them performing to win this game the whole 17 need to put a shift in especially defensively around the ruck.
I honestly think if we stop their fast ptb's and have good defensive line speed we will beat them.

I've had a sneaky feeling for Widnes too. Just got a feeling Cas won't handle the pressure of being favourites and most people backing them to win. Widnes will go in with a nothing to lose kinda mentality.

The point was more, if those two are not on their top games, then their isn't enough in the rest. If those two play their top games, then they are above what Warrington can match. They are the difference players.

Bet you can't find me one single quote from a Cas fan to back that up.
Just because everyone in the media is tipping us to win doesn't mean we as fans are over confident.
Im sure Widnes will be fired up and could easily turn us over if they start quickly and we aren't on the boil from the start.
For what it's worth I would really love an all Yorkshire final.
I genuinely mean this - good luck on Saturday, hope we can get through to see you all at wembley.
