2. What exactly are their 'special needs'? As far as I can see, you object to their a) being young and b) being poorly dressed. Which, given the entire point of going to a game is to support your team, seems to me to be completely irrelevant.
3. They probably can. Certainly including the seemingly self-selecting 'cool lot' on here, who've been noticeably rat-d on more occasions than I care to remember. At least the SNG, if that's what they/we are to be termed, have never turned to abusing or intimidating our own fans.

I'd agree if they'd drunkenly abused other sections of our support
I'd agree if they'd tried to violently intimidate other fans
I'd agree if they'd used racist or homophobic abuse
But as far as I know, having stood near them for 3 and a bit seasons now, they've done none of those things.
So please explain yourself. |

Each to their own I suppose but I think the band are an embarrassment.
The Southstand used to be able to create an atmosphere long before the band came along and hopefully will long after it has gone, which I hope is not too far away.

Not them I'm afraid Lawrie, that would be the group of young gentlemen stood between us and the band. I also heard that chant, went mental and got the stewards in. You're absolutely right that what was chanted has no place in a rugby match, but that's not our groups fault.
As for where I stood before, the answer of 'nowhere or with my dad' is correct. This is because before four years ago I didn't live in Leeds, and couldn't make it into games. So the only matches I saw were the ones my dad was willing to drive in for. Having moved to Leeds for uni, I got a season ticket as soon as I could. |
