I presume he is saying he thought he would get the number 4 shirt, but being as only offer he has is pay and play can't see why he would think that

on Hardaker, i can see an off season on the weights. Has all the skills/footwork to make it justs needs a bit of bulk, but not too much to dull his pace methinks.

Definately. He's still so raw and has only had one season in Super League under his belt.
Despite his size he didn't look a weak link defensively when playing centre last season, against some very good centres as well.
He didn't look to pass to his winger very often but I would imagine that will come with time. It should also help that he sticks to the same side of the pitch for the majority of the year, last year he was filling it at both left and right centre, although that just shows his talent.
