| Quote AdmiralHanson="AdmiralHanson"I know who owns the flag ... Not sure what happened to it, will have to ask him.
I also know who got the aforementioned flag in to Stade Charlette in Paris in '95
One chant when that came out was "We all live in a blue & amber stand" to the tune of "Yellow Submarine"'"
It may be a good time for the flag to return!, it may just cover all the Leeds fans up in the stadium if things get to bad.

| Quote Superted="Superted"See I quite like the 'Wash your mout out son' song, although it could be seen as being braindead, I think it's just a light hearted dig at the opposition. It's not aimed at being offensive, or literal, and raises the atmosphere, but I understand where you are coming from.
I hate the 'Get into em' song. I dont remember this being sung in the 80's,90's and is probably more recent song. It's not as bad as the monsterous 'Lets go f*cking mental na naaa naa na' song though. That one is horrendous, and in my opinion is probably influenced by the football fan mentality of some of our newer fans (luckily it doesnt get sung that often).
One with a bit of swearing I always used to chuckle at, and that with a bit of luck we could use this weekend (although with the amount of women and kids that will be there it might not be appropriate) is....... Wigan, Wigan, who the f*ck are Wigan....'"
The problem with the "wash your mouth out son" song is that it's sang to reguarly and at totally insignificant teams. It should just be reserved for Weegan & Hull.
The "Get into em" song originated on the terraces of Thrumhall from memory, terrible song.

| Now I know it's not old and it is probably classed as crude by the 'easily-offended brigade' but this one always gets me laughing!
Ohhhhhhh he's got a really massive c*ck, Peacock, Peacock
It's bigger than a rugby sock, Peacock, Peacock
He's shagged your Mum and now she's dead
He waives his c*ck around his head
Jamie Peacock, Rhinos number 10

Almost got it right... edited
And the "Everywhere we go" chant is still done at the majority of games too. The one that I always remember from my youth that I havent heard in years is the "Super Leeds *clap, clap, clap*" chant. Plain and simple but it was the 1st chant I ever heard at Headingley as a kid so sticks in my mind.

| "Every where we go" used to be started off by a bloke with the loudest voice in the world. He used to start most of the songs in the early 90's. If you watch any old Sky recordings you can hear him clear as anything.

Aye, i remember when the songs were started by men (not boys who are obsessed with swears and willies)

| This old chestnut again . We should have a gathering of the singers and sort out some new ones . Believe it or not , there are people in the north stand that want to sing , but dont know the words , so can't join in . We should get the songs sorted , and printed in the matchday programme . I have seen it done in other teams' programmes .
An off-season project , and a good excuse for a few beers maybe ?

| Now I don't suggest we get as lame as the pie-eaters but I did come across a section on one of their fan sites a few years back that had all their songs and lyrics in one place. Could be an idea for here? It could become a weekly feature to replace Damo's bit .

| I think Keep right on to the end of the road started in 1957 cup campaign and Ive also heard it was borrowed from Birmingham city AFC who used it in their 1956 cup winning year

Would that score mean the best team lost ? Or for that to be the case does the score have to be closer or wider . say .. ermmmm .. 10-8 , or 56-0 ? ? ? ?
