Does he fancy coming over for circa 8 games?
If not are we then committing ourselves for next season to a coach we dont necessarily want for next season?
We need to be thinking about next year, If we can't get our first choice for coach until next year, we may aswell leave McDermott in charge, if we dont know who we want next year, then dumping McDermott for someone else who is simply available isnt going to help in the long run.

Cross and Hauraki should be better than they have been. They're hardly unique in playing below expectations and capability.

Cross - Only a State Of Origin prop
Could it be argued that he was played wrongly by BMD ?

That's the issue. We shouldn't rush into a long term commitment with someone who isn't right for the long term.

| How can a team which were 80mins from Old Trafford 10 months a go, go to this?! Only one answer and I'm sure it's the same answer as Batley's

| Can I suggest instead of being keyboard warriors on here, when we lose once again in our next home game after another lacklustre performance, we actually don't just praise the players and actually tell them what a joke we've been thinking they have been while also letting the board know our feelings?!
Just a suggestion like...

Probably not.
I agree that the chances are BMD will stay in charge until the end of the season (you might recall my thread a couple of weeks ago highlighting why it is in GH's best interests for Leeds to 'fail' this season)
If the fans really do scream for his removal before the end, we'll probably get someone like Barrie McDermott running the team for the last few matches of the season.

I don't recall Murray winning three Grand Finals, three World Club Championships, coaching GB or winning SL coach of the year.
On your basis, you would say Ben Cross has achieved more than Jamie Peacock.

| Whilst i accept the squad is older and many past their prime they SHOULD be doing better than this.
A decent coach would bring discipline and structure and lets be honest a strong coach wouldn't stand for that garbage and there'd be many sat in the stands until they got the message.
We have no right to win and certainly no right to trophies but it's not unreasonable to expect competitive performances from the squad that's available imo and the chuckle brothers can't produce it.
Of course questions can/will be asked of GH and he has the power to change it but even he can't be blamed for sheeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttteeeeeee we've witnessed this year.
