Burgess would be an absolute massive upgrade on what we have for our wings. Would be a massive plus signing.

I don't think Handley will ever be a top class wing, he's just not fast enough or big enough. Being honest though it probably doesn't matter so much whilst Hurrell is playing. The question with Briscoe Sr is whether he can get back to his best, which is easily good enough, and it must be hard playing outside a centre who isn't fully fit and isn't defending particularly well. A top class winger would be nice but given how many other weaknesses we have I'm not sure it should be apriority.

Deffinte yes on joe Burgess, would be a big upgrade if we could get him, injurys would be only concern.

so you think a player who is proving to be very injury prone and not the player he looked 3-4 years ago would be better that the current second on the try scoring list and both our current wingers rarely miss games. He (Burgess) looked a great prospect a few years ago, looks average now. only take him if he is very cheap.

Don't Know why everyone is so quick to want to bag Handely, he is doing everything asked of him, he is scoring plenty of trys some great individual efforts, he is strong bringing the ball out breaks plenty of tackles, preetyy stable under high ball and defending, unless a real class winger is suddenly available why look to ship him out or not play him. he is only 23 as well so really coming into prime years and looking better all the time after an extended run.

No I don’t think it, I know it. Only an idiot would think Handley will be anything close to Burgess. Yes a few injuries, but he is not far worse than he was, he is far ahead of others. Wigan’s first four choice wingers are all massively ahead of ours. Burgess is their second best of the four.

Burgess will want bigger money than Handley and he may be better but you are wrong if you think he is far ahead of what we have, like i said maybe worth a punt if fairly cheap, but otherwise would not splash cash on him, rather go with what we have. Doubt he will be on our radar anyway, or us on his, seems like a catalan or toronto type signing to me.

Handley - Slow, can't tackle, awful defensive positioning.
