If we'r being honest, that first sentence isnt correct. Its nothing to do with his accent or how he got to the club. Plenty of Academy products with Yorkshire accents have received plenty of flack over the years.
Much like Hurrell, some can forgive cuthbertsons daft errors because of the positives he offers, some cant excuse the errors regardless of what else he offers...I can see both sides, but with the 3 errrors against Wigan at 16-10, which went along way towards killing any momentum we had going, fresh in the memory, he was always going to stir the emotions...Aussie or not |

At 35, I agree this should be Cuthbertson's last season.
However, having watched every game this season i can't agree that people can come to the conclusion he deserves to be dropped. 165m against Wigan and 20+ carries. Only big Mik got anywhere near that kind of effort in the forward pack. Yes, he made four errors but he was also the most likely forward to bust a tackle.
He makes my 17 still.
