| Rhinos are training at a base that Scotland used in the yawnion WC & were full of praise for.

| Quote BrisbaneRhino="BrisbaneRhino"Regardless of injuries the defence has been a shambles in all bar the first game. There are more than enough experienced players in the team to not let in 30+ in three consecutive games.'"
Experienced on an individual level, yes. Experienced as a unit, no. Later we'll be fine; whether we'll be too far behind to make top 4 remains to be seen.
But so what if it does take a season? There's some real promise about the side and I'm really looking forward to when it does work.

| We only have the small sample of last season to go off as a guide as far as this new format goes, but after the 23 game regular season Huddersfield in 4th finished it with 2 draws and 8 defeats and Cas in 5th had 10 defeats out of 23 and were still well in touch come the super 8s.
Still way too early to start even thinking of writing off the season yet after 3 defeats, even if we lose a couple more in the next few games as they are against sides we expect to be up the top end with us its not a disaster. We should have more bodies back next couple of weeks, and at some point we will put a run together and all this will be a distant memory.Keep the faith.

| Seems to me Leeds are just beginning the transition period that was inevitable. They were always going to struggle for a period. How long that is will depend on Hetherington and McDermott and the staff.
After all the success recently it'll be interesting to see how you adapt. Reading some stuff on here is like going back in time to pre 2004! It's more entertaining than it's been for a while.

| Personally, I like it when we have a shoite run of form, it's just like the good old days. All we need now are some really lazy, powder puff forwards with a flaccid manhood and ten thousand idiots writing players off before they've played a handful of games. Oh, hang on a minute..........Utopia.

| STOP all the moaning please. Just last season we had one that most clubs can only dream about. Everything that goes around, comes around. A couple of trophy less seasons will hardly kill whilst we build the next 'golden' generation. Ours is a very well run club that is the envy of almost all other fans.
If you need cheering up more, just think back to the 1980s and most of the 1990s; now that was grim with hardly a glimmer of hope save for the such as the John Player win v Widnes.

| Quote Sal Paradise="Sal Paradise"I don't have my nose up anyone's backside - please don't ever suggest that again!!
William's posts are aimed at challenging your opinion - something you clearly find difficult to handle given the tirade of insults you resort to as soon as anyone challenges your opinion.
Jeff is not your orthodox poster - if you want to joust with him you need to be on your game otherwise he will make you look silly '"
Aww bless, did you propose to him on Leap Years Day?
Quote Sal Paradise="Sal Paradise"On the training ground stuff - are we seriously suggesting that Kirkstall is the only rugby field in Leeds of its type and is so special that having to move to another piece of grass 100 x 60 metres with posts at either end has dramatically impacted a supposed professional set up to such a degree - seriously!!
On the gym equipment whenever I see video down the gym at Kirkstall and when I have been there for physio I haven't see anything that isn't available at you local David Lloyd/Virgin who I am sure would be delighted to have a group of RL players using their facilities every day.'"
Yeah come to think of it, why do any sports teams spend big money on building top class training grounds when they could just pop down the local field and gym and get the exact same results. You should ring up all the owners in the country and tell them they're doing it wrong because clearly training grounds are just not needed.
By your way of thinking perhaps you could just go to some crummy run down dentist as opposed to a quality one because either way it's still a room with a dentist inside with tools. Or send kids to any old run down school as opposed to a much better one because both are just a room with a teacher inside at the end of the day.

Last season ended fantastically for Leeds, the greatest year in their entire history. Time to move on now though and concentrate on the here and now.
Supporters have every right to moan or not as they choose. You think the CEO, Coach and players won't be having a moan too after the opening four competitive games this season?

Leeds had plenty of hope throughout that period also, that it wasn't converted into trophies is a matter of history and some regret but there was no lack of ambition at Headingley or at many other challenging clubs and the rugby was more often than not entertaining to watch despite still being a predomiantly winter sport.
This season has started very poorly and not just for Leeds but for the SL also IMO. It will surely improve and it needs to.

If we all stopped moaning it would be the end of this forum.....bring it on I say
Much more fun seeing the apologists forever trying to impose their righteousness on the less forgiving

| Fans should moan when we lose. If you're not happy with a win and upset at a loss you're not really a fan.
The biggest issue for me this year is whether we have enough hard heads in the squad who want to win at all costs. The loss of Peacock and Sinfield in that regard is huge.
