If a punch is now an automatic send off. Personally I do not think it should be. Why was McGuire not sent off?

Would Wardle have been sent off had he aimed one punch at Ablett? I'd say probably not. Paul Wood didn't in the Challenge Cup final last season.

It gets harder to ignore when a player throws a volley of shots against an opponent unwilling or unable to return fire.

You probably also have to take note who the video referee is on these occasions.
