four hours twenty minutes leeds to warrington
diverted off the M62 and up into the pennines by any roasd possible
would have been much more and missing the game without taking some very narrow and scary roads over the pennines, very slow moving on the non motorway route from hudds to rochdale
just got back via the last train to Newcastle
Great day

We set off at 12:30 from Leeds . Got stuck in the traffic for a fair while . Came off the M62 , and joined an even slower queue . I fell asleep , and when I woke up we were back at HQ . I thought I had slept through the match , but there had been a vote to turn round and come back and watch it in the Supporters Club .

set off from Yeadon at 1pm, got into HJ to see National Anthems in Football

We were lucky with the traffic yesterday, just got to junction as they were closing the motorway and taking everyone off, team bus was just behind us. Took us 2 hours to go the scenic route but listening to everyone else's stories of 4 hours plus we felt we had done OK.

It took me 9hours to get out of our HQ yesterday. Awfully congested around the bar area and toilets.

Set off at 3:45 and had to take the scenic route across to Warrington - but yes, certainly felt lucky to not be stuck on the M62. It was roasting.

Got into the ground after 20 minutes .. just in time to see Wire score their second.

Worth the effort of getting over tho

We got back to HQ . Just saw the Senior try and the big screen went off . Went up to the Skyrack to watch it in there . Was told I wasn't allowed in wearing trainers and tracksuit bottoms (been going in there for years dressed like that on match-days) . I went to Tariqs and got a burger and a taxi .
I was destined to miss that game it seems .

Now i dont feel so bad

Was gonna do the train but forces prevented me from attending.

We were in Wetherspoons at 12 talking to a couple of lasses that travel away regularly with us . They were going on the train . They almost accepted our invitation to come on our bus . Bet they are glad they didn't .
