| He's got more chance of making a go of it at Cas under Powell than he has anywhere else.

| Think he's been brought to Cas to give some of our other underperforming fringe props, Wheeldon, Boyle and Crossley a kick up the jacksie, they've been very poor all season and don't seem to want to improve. Can't see him becoming a regular starter.

| I would see that as good move for both parties, in Bailey's case last chance saloon.
I think I'm right in saying he's only 31 so could have a few years left in him if he applies himself & is handled properly
I certainly believe that Daryl Powell is capable of that & he'll come relatively cheap I'd imagine.

| I think this could be a good move for Bailey and Cas if it happens.
One would hope Ryan has taken a step back over the past weeks and realised this is last chance saloon but if he can keep his head down he could have another 5 years at the top level. Then again, this is Bailey we are talking about...

| He had as good a chance as anyone else whilst at HKR.
They are that short of props at the moment he would practically be guaranteed a starting place week in week out.
Surely he could have found his way that bit further down the M62 to earn a living?
Be interesting to think what the Cas fans think of him after all the racial abuse he used to get when playing against them.

| The Bailey situation at Hull KR isn't quite what people are speculating, so don't be so sure he is any last chance saloon.
He should have sticked with what he had agreed previously and signed for Cas, and not gone back on that deal to go with Hull KR. He agreed with Cas early last year, and it was only the more money from Hull KR that changed that.
Now he is back to square one, and lucky that Cas were still willing to deal.
Good Luck to him. Can't see him ever kicking on as anything quality, but at least will hopefully see him playing regularly again.

So what was the Bailey situation at Hull KR then?
Good look to him at Cas maybe he will flourish being a more main player at a club. Still glad we got shot. Never lived up to the massive potential that he showed early in his career.

| My response is Meh. It all depends how much they are paying him. I gave up on him ever realising his potential a few years ago.

Looks like your sentiments are echoed by the majority of Cas Fans, at least if you go by the level of comment on the Cas message board. More have commented on here than on the Cas board and then half of the comments are from Rhinos fans.

That's symptomatic of the Cas board though. Which is why I am rarely on there.

The response over there has been surprisingly positive, or at least not overwhelmingly negative, albeit there are some howls of outrage.
