How? LUFC have still been getting great crowds despite being rubbish, and the Rhinos still manage to be profitable.

Reports in Wigan suggesting that Lam and his lad will be there in 2019, so perhaps that may increase the chances of Furner coaching Leeds next season.

Furner sounds like the best option out there to me.Played with Sinfield too so they know each other.

If they were to get into the PL you can add 15-20k a game and as we all know the young ones are primarily interested in soccer - that will hurt Leeds RL - money can only go so far

Leeds averaged round about 29/30 thousand last couple of years. ground holds 38.

LUFC averaged 31k at home games last season, Elland Road only holds 38k, so even if they get promoted the gates won't be too different.
The academy seems to also be favouring a more 'cosmopolitan' approach to signing young players. Anyway, a Premiere League football team could actually benefit Leeds Rugby.

If LUFC got back into the PL something would have to be done with the West stand - its prehistoric

And if LUFC upgraded their stadium it would be greatly reduced capacity for at least one season

Tad I am no way in the know here but I was told from someone closely connected to the club that Dave Furner was our next coach at least 4 weeks before Brian Mac was relieved of his duties and I was confident enough to post that info on social media
