I remember a home game against Castleford definitely being on.

Then half hour before kick off, it was no longer definitely on.

In fact, it was off.

Was that roughly 6 or 7 years ago? And we had to play Sunday? I remember walking up to the stadium and 1000's were coming the opposite direction. I knew something wasn't right then

I can't recall the year but 6/7 years ago seems about right.

I do recall GH announcing something along the lines of "The game is definitely on, it must go ahead and must go ahead NOW" or words to that effect. I was already inside the ground studying frost formations and becoming increasingly skeptical by the minute over GH's earlier promises. There were rumours of abandonment at least an hour before someone and something else entirely was blamed for misleading the public and an announcement was made to go home.

It was a SKy game as well wasn't it?
