There's been three things whilst watching Leeds that has made me shed a tear...
The '99 Challenge Cup victory at Wembley.
The securing of the first domestic Championship in my lifetime in 2004.
And today, upon learning of the passing of John Holmes.
I was privilledged to see him play.

when my dad first took me to watch Leeds play it was john Holmes i wanted to see play more than any other player majestic is the word that springs to mind watching him play arguably Leeds greatest ever player and we've had some great players, R.I.P john holmes a pleasure to watch him play.

i consider myself priveledged to have watched him play towards the end of his career. Blue and Amber through and through.

I too had the privelege to see the great man at his peak and even when he had lost some of his pace he could still break defences with a superb ly timed pass.
Looking forward to a great tribute to a great player on Friday night.
