| From his recent presser he talks about making signings and some will be leaving next year. It`s as if he is staying from that interview.

| Tad I am sure you are correct - these are very experienced sporting club owners. The principles apply in any sport - poor players, poor team there is no substitute for quality.

| One of the greatest players ever to wear a Leeds shirt. If they could have kept him fit he would have been regarded in the game as George Best was.
His performance in the first game of the FA Cup final against Chelsea was something else.

| Not sure I`m following these pages, last, previous and latest seem out of order. However thank goodness for Solomon the only player who performed today imo. Players like Gruev, Bogle, Tanaka, Piroe, Byram all had ineffective games. Bamford, Joseph, Gnonto and Aaronson doing nothing either. Fantastic win when it looked like we were going to get done by yet another linesman`s mistake. Farke looked absolutely drained at the end. Champions again.

| a game to far for a lot of them. we still had loads of efforts that flew across the goal and amazingly no one got a touch. the match stats are incredibly one sided. it really wasn't a close game.
sometimes all that matters is the result though. and bucket loads of character.

| Farke confirmed as staying. He deserves a chance, but I think he'll be gone in 6 months

| Unbelievable. what a turnout yesterday.. Police reckon conservatively 200k there, but probably nearer 300k. Passed without incident too which is a huge credit to the fans. Apparently the city centre is a bomb site though.. LOL
Pleased Farke staying, he deserves a chance. Apparently Marathe told him privately a week or so back. See the transfer window opens 1st June for 10 days then reopens again 16th... lets hope we get some early business done, Farke was saying he wants players in early and not last minute.. Marathe also saying we will spend max allowed under FFP rules which is great to hear, lets hope they can get creative with it also and create some more room.. it will be interesting to see what spending power we have.

| Strong rumour doing the rounds that Marathe approached Mourihno who turned him down. I`m 50/50 wrt Farke. On one hand he deserves a chance and the players seem to like him. On the other hand he has tried and failed in the PL before without the financial backing. We will find out by the end of November if it was a shrewd decision.

| Can't see them looking at Mourihno, he doens't fit the way the club has been built to play football these last 6 years since Bielsa was hired. He totally changed the clubs philosophy and the fans love the possession based football that Farke has continued with (albeit a bit more reserved than Bielsa style), don't think the fans would put up with it, would be a bigger gamble imo.
On another note, listened to a very interesting piece on Talksport from a football financial expert about the FFP impact on clubs coming up into the Prem. They are majorly hamstrung by the rules and the only way to get it changed is the PL clubs voting to change it, which won't happen as it would be Turkey's voting for Xmas... the rules are absolutely ridiculous and it's widening the gap between promoted teams and the established Prem teams.
Leeds will need to do some very very smart recruitment.
