| Be interesting to see how Bails does at KR.
What he did at Leeds was what was asked of him to do. But at KR he will need to do more. As the leader of a pack. More drives, more workrate and more minutes. He's a very good athlete and can soak minutes up. He has his final jigsaw piece at Leeds so hopefully a new challenge will re-fire the old beast. For me in 2014 he was too quiet (no bans, trips to red hall on a Tuesday) and seemed to be playing conservative with a combative prop like Bailey let him go the right side of wrong**
But i have to say on kick off for new season, to see Bailey under sticks in red and white will be something of an 'eh' moment.
**by that I dont mean in Wane/Flower incident way.

| I think (or perhaps in the case of the club, Hope) that this could be a cracking move for both parties. As others have suggested, RB may well kick on with renewed passion as he starts a new (and presumably final) chapter of his career, with KR. Fingers crossed the sleeve comes up with the goods and gives us a surprise signing for Christmas.
I wish RB all the best, he has been a good servant to the club, even if the last couple of seasons have been a bit low key.

Wait, you thought GH was going to come back from Aus having secured the signature of someone equivalent to the current Queensland and Kangaroos organiser-in-chief?
I'll grant you there have been some underwhelming signings, but you're in for a lifetime of disappointment if that's what you hope for from a scouting trip!

It will be, usually though when a player north of 30 moves after a long spell at the one club and it constantly remains strange to see them in another kit they've struggled.
I hope he does well but I just have a feeling his heart won't be in it, could see it being similar to Sean Long when he went to Hull from Saints and it never really taking off with form and injuries seeing him stumbling through his contract.

| Warm weather training in Jacksonville FLA Bails wouldn't have been there any way he was always injured for that trip

| He has been a good servant to the club and will be remembered fondly alongside a fair few others as we move into a new era but as others have said, He hasn't really produced much over the last couple of years and its definately the right time to part ways imo.
Wish him all the best and hopefully Hull KR can breath some new life into his career.

| It's like when Nicky Butt left united. Sure he was part of unprecedented success but hardly did anything to influence it himself.

| Leaving Leeds is rarely a career enhancement but as a Rovers fan I hope Ryan Bailey still has something to offer.
We've just lost Justin Poore a SoO player sadly to a career ending injury of a shattered knee cap, I think Bailey is seen as a similarly aggressive player with good go forward.
Bailey has always been a 'love to hate' character in Hull and in the nearby area of Jon O'Groats to Lands End.............!!!!! |Never known an ordinary player ever get that kind of attention!
If Tom Briscoe was shocked by his 'reception ' from the Hull Fc fans then Ryan Bailey ain't seen nothin' yet but the HKR East Stand will embrace him and the hair on the back of his neck will stand on end when he runs out for his first Hull derby . I guarantee that.
Good luck Rhinos.
