Lolohea looked like that playing reserve grade at the end of the year. His lack of fitness may have been one of the reasons he didn't get picked by Wests even when he was available and they were down to 3rd/4th choice full back and halfbacks. It could just be suggestive that relations broke down with the club, so he may well put in the work in the off season. One thing's for sure he is a couple of stone above where he should be right now.

McLennend hasn't played a senior game of RL in his career - can see him playing a season at Featherstone.

I know that. And he may well spend a lot of time at fetherstone, however, from what I’ve heard he certainly hasn’t been brought in just to make up numbers. And by the end of the season it wouldn’t surprise me if we saw a lot more of him.

I think the outs will consist of Parcell, Garbutt, Golding, Walters, Ormondroyd, Mullally. I’m hoping that we are bringing a few in as were linked with Taupau, Young (Newcastle FB), Briscoe (permanent), O’Loughlin, Cunningham (London HK), Fensom.

Shame about Garbutt and Parcell, good players. I'm guessing only being moved on to free up some overseas spots.

The issue the club will have is these players are contracted and therefore don't have to go anywhere.

Golding was saying only last week that he is looking forward to pre-season with Leeds. Club can tell him he's free to find another club but if he doesn't want to there is nothing club can do and he can just sit on his contract until it expires. In Goldings case that's about 3 years still isn't it?

I thought 2? As for Parcell and Garbutt, it may be that it's them that want out, not vice versa. And while the club could insist on them seeing out their contracts they maybe have no wish to retain uncommitted players and simply want them off the pay roll asap.

hope that turns out that way, if it does then he will be a good signing. and not another Cory Aston signing.

I'd be very disappointed if Garbutt does want out given his injury ravished year last year. Just the way it is I suppose. Have to say, though, Parcell, Garbutt and Watkins are probably the three names from the remainder of 2018 squad I would most like to retain.
